Military,
Public Health, or NOAA Deferment
If you are actively
serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, the U.S. Commissioned Corps of Public Health Service, or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric
Administration (NOAA), you may qualify for a public service deferment. This deferment postpones payments due on your student loan
account during your active duty or service for up to a total of 36 months (3 years).
To obtain the public
service deferment, you will need to supply a certification of your service from an authorized official on a deferment request form
(see below). Or, if you are in the military, you can also provide a copies of your
official military orders and your military ID card.

follow the instructions on the form.
If you have loans that
are serviced by more than one servicer, please print a form for each servicer and print the name or your servicer on each form. Mail your completed form(s) to us at:
