Military, Public Health, or NOAA Deferment

What is it?
A means of postponing payments due on your student loans for up to 36 months (three years).

When do I qualify?
When you are current on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces, the U.S. Commissioned Corps of Public Health Service, or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

How do I apply?
Click on the button below to view and print a request for deferment form.  Please read the form carefully to make sure you qualify, and follow the instructions on the form. Mail your completed form(s) to us at:
