Internship/Residency Deferment

If you are medical, dental, or other intern or resident, you may qualify for an internship/residency deferment.  This deferment for the duration of your program, up to 24 months (2 years). 

To qualify for an internship/residency deferment you must be:

bullet

Accepted into or serving in an internship or residency program required for licensing in your profession; or

bullet

Serving in an internship or residency leading to a degree or certificate awarded by an institution of higher learning, hospital, or other health care facility that offers post-graduate training.
