Continuous Enrollment

If you have been continuously enrolled in school and are receiving delinquency notices on your student loan account, it may be that your lender or servicer has not received notification of your continued enrollment. 

Keep in mind that “continuously enrolled” means:

bullet

Enrolled on at least a half-time basis (according to your school’s definition)

bullet

At an eligible institution (i.e., recognized by your student loan guarantor)

bullet

With no break greater than six months.

If you think your lender or servicer may not have record of your most recent enrollment, click here to view and print an educational deferment request form.  You can use this form to have your school verify your enrollment.

If you have loans that are serviced by more than one servicer, please print a form for each servicer and print the name or your servicer on each form.  Mail your completed form(s) to us at:
