Because you are unsure about the date of your earliest student loan, we will assume that, like most borrowers we work with, you took out your earliest loan on or after July 1, 1993. Please note, however, that the date of your earliest loan affects your eligibility for various types of deferments. If you borrowed your earliest loan before July 1, 1993, the Solution Finder Results we present to you may not be accurate with respect to deferments. Able to Make Payments

I am now able to make monthly payments to my account.

In School or Training

	I have returned to school on at least a half-time basis.
	I have not left school since I received my student loan(s).
	I am a medical or dental intern or resident.

Not Working Full-Time

	I am currently unemployed and actively seeking full-time employment (at least 30 hours a week).
	I am working less than 30 hours a week, and actively seeking full-time employment.

Injured or Disabled

	I am not working because I was injured and am in rehabilitation.
	I cannot work or go to school because I am disabled.

Working, but…

	I am working full-time (at least 30 hours a week), but I cannot make payments at my current monthly amount. I can, however, make a smaller monthly payment.
	I am working full-time (at least 30 hours a week), but can make little or no payment toward my student loan(s).
	I have student loans held by different lenders or servicers. The combined amount is too much for me to pay right now.
