Able to Make Payments

I am now able to make monthly payments to my account.

In School or Training

	I have returned to school on at least a half-time basis.
	I have not left school since I received my student loan(s).
	I am a medical or dental intern or resident.

Not Working Full-Time

	I am currently unemployed and actively seeking full-time employment (at least 30 hours a week).
	I am working less than 30 hours a week, and actively seeking full-time employment.

Injured or Disabled

	I am not working because I was injured and am in rehabilitation.
	I cannot work or go to school because I am disabled.

Working, but…

	I am working full-time (at least 30 hours a week), but I cannot make payments at my current monthly amount. I can, however, make a smaller monthly payment.
	I am working full-time (at least 30 hours a week), but can make little or no payment toward my student loan(s).
	I have student loans held by different lenders or servicers.  The combined amount is too much for me to pay right now.
	My combined student loan debt is very high.  This makes it difficult for me to repay at my current monthly amount.

Temporary Setback

	I have had recent, temporary financial difficulty that has kept me from making payments.  I expect to be able to resume payments within several months.

Doing My Duty

	I am on active duty with a branch of the U. S. Armed Forces, the U.S. Public Health Service, or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Corps (NOAA).
	I am a full-time volunteer with the Peace Corps, ACTION, or a tax-exempt charitable organization.
	I am teaching full-time in a Teacher Shortage Area designated by my state.

Caring for My Family

	I am the mother of a pre-schooler.  I’m working full-time, but earning no more than $1.00 more than minimum wage.
	I am caring for a disabled spouse or dependent.
